What do you get when you cross a group of teenagers with paranormal influences? Well, you get a mess, but that's besides the point. This story is about a lot of things, but it's mainly about a group of friends. A group of friends and the hell they go through, both literally and metaphorically.

Roxy Meadows is dead. So are her two friends, Jessica Lawson and Raine Evans. But, for some reason, Roxy and Jessica have returned. Roxy's family never knew she was gone. But something's wrong with her. There's something in the back of her mind that only wakes up when she's asleep. She knows it's there, and it knows she knows.

Toby was a good kid. Always has been. He just gets into bad situations. When his parents died, he was left with his abusive brother. After he became fed up with the abuse, he ran away. He ran as far as his legs could take him. He soon found himself in the middle of a forest, unable to run anymore. A man found him, cold and alone. The man took him into his home, a quaint little cabin in the woods. The man taught Toby of a tall man whom he would now serve. More people have come to this house since, and they became a closely-knit family.
