When Lucas Orwell gets a mysterious unlabeled disc case in the mail, he almost throws it away, until he sees "ALEX", his father's name, written on the disc. As he plays through the game his situation soon becomes clear, soon paranormal and powerful entities and people begin to invade his life, and he tries to piece together who created the game, why it's creator "E" is trying to track him down, and what happened to his father in 2008 that caused him to go missing without a trace.
