Having just moved into a new apartment, the narrator of 10 tapes (going under the pseudonym "H") finds a note with scribbled writing, that leads him to a VHS tape. This begins a series of events, where someone/something going under the pseudonym "X" keeps leading H, and those who decide to join him, on a hunt for 10 tapes.
