Gloaming County is far from ordinary. Between bizarre local fauna, a decade-long string of cold cases, and the eternal spread of the Rot, their tourism efforts have been lackluster at best. In a bid to get with the times, this small Southern community has decided to publicize their town's heritage for the World Wide Web. As their resident archivists digitize history, it becomes clear that someone—or something—is trying to speak to them through this window to the past. It sounds hungry. Worse, certain folks in town will do anything it takes to bury that past forever. No matter what evils rise, Gloaming County must not be forgotten.
